Older Eagle Mountain phases have their own registered design covenants. Beyond that, City of Abbotsford zoning bylaws, hillside development permits, and standard building code apply. We check every lot for phase-specific covenants at the design stage and manage all City of Abbotsford submissions on your behalf.
How long does an Eagle Mountain custom home take to build?
Plan on 14 to 20 months from first design meeting to move-in. Roughly 3 to 5 months for design development and covenant review, 2 to 3 months for City of Abbotsford building permits and geotechnical assessment (longer on steep cuts), and 9 to 12 months of construction. Steep Eagle Mountain cuts often add another 4 to 8 weeks for retaining walls, drainage, and foundation stepping. Weather matters. Excavation and framing move fastest through Fraser Valley summers.
